A little sugar for charity

STRUBENS VALLEY - SA Bachelor and volunteers sell cupcakes for various good causes.

Wayne Stafford, SA Bachelor 2015, was joined by other celebrities and volunteers to bring a little sugar to Clearwater Mall.

Stafford held the SA Bachelor annual Cupcakes for Kids fundraiser, which supports the Talk Initiative and Cansa, with the help of Lerato Malatjie, the first-ever Miss Regal International SA 2016.

On the day, 1 October, 500 cupcakes were decorated in pink for Cansa or in the SA Bachelor or Talk Initiative logos and were sold for R10 each. Stafford and his team sold 200 cupcakes.

“It is lovely to see people are still willing to support charities and lend a helping hand,” Stafford added. The leftover cupcakes were donated to local old age homes and to charities supported by Mrs World 2016, Candice Abrahams, who also supported Stafford’s event.
