ANC visits clinic
WELTEVREDEN PARK – ANC bring a bit of comfort to patients and staff of the Weltevreden Park clinic.
The Weltevreden Park Clinic was in for a treat when ANC Ward 126 members visited the clinic to bring joy to the may people at the clinic.
Last week, the members handed out tea, coffee and scones for patients and staff at the clinic. Plans that the ANC has for the ward were also shared. “In Ward 126 we strive to ensure that service delivery is maintained at a high level,” said chairperson, Warren Mackrill. He added that they focus especially on education.
Qhawe Zulu, BET coordinator said that they did this outreach to the clinic as part of Mandela month to create awareness and make themselves more visible. It was a nice day for everyone at the clinic not only to get a warm drink on a cold day, but to have a platform to have their concerns in the ward heard.
