Women transformed at the Modern Woman Hi Tea

HONEYDEW – Three women were selected and treated to an extreme makeover.

SA Bachelor 2015 Wayne Stafford motivated and inspired many women with advice and amazing gifts when he hosted the Modern Woman Hi Tea.

The function took place at Eagle Canyon Golf Estate on 12 March with special guests including the patron of the Cancer Association of South Africa (Cansa), Edith Venter, former Miss South Africa Thuli Sithole, brand image consultant Nadeema Kahan and fashion stylist Anja Cruse Bothma.

The purpose of the weekend was to inspire, empower and motivate woman. Simultaneously, Stafford wanted to raise awareness and funds for Cansa and the Amadea Home of Safety.

The guest speakers inspired the crowd of 170 women with their life stories and motivational advice. Stafford chose three women for makeovers. They were pampered by the Melville Wellness Centre with facials, had a stylist for their wardrobe transformation, and they had their hair and make-up done as well.

Stafford, who is a fashion producer and fashion stylist, chose people who have crossed his path in the past where he saw the opportunity to enhance their natural beauty and make them look fabulous. “I believe that I have a gift of looking at someone and knowing that with a little bit of fashion advice and grooming I can help them enhance their beauty,” said Stafford. He also said his inspiration behind the makeovers is for women to see that they can look fantastic with a little bit of effort and time to take care of themselves.

Patricia Behr won a makeover and she received 30 days of one-on-one coaching sessions with Atkins SA where she will be shown how to balance her diet, as well as a R5000 IPL and Laser voucher from Melville Wellness Centre and Day Spa.

Three women walked away with prizes after a raffle for amazing prizes including a 2006 Vintage Besserat Champagne Gift Set, an IPL and Laser voucher worth R5000 from Melville Wellness and Day Spa and a full expenses paid trip for two to Casa Da Mar in Mozambique courtesy of Tours@Moz.

“I am thrilled with the outcome, 170 women came out to support the event and I have received such positive feedback,” said Stafford.
