WATCH: @Ruimsig_Run draws 100’s to compete
RUIMSIG –The famous In-Reach hosts the @Ruimsig_Run.
Hundreds of runners flocked to the @Ruimsig_Run on 18 February to experience a fun-filled 5km or 8km run around the Ruimsig Country Club golf course.
In-Reach hosted the event in conjunction with the Ruimsig Country Club. The day started off well with many excited hearts ready to test them. Unfortunately, heavy rain and lightening put a halt on proceedings which dampened the excitement for a short while.
Mother Nature pitied the runners and within a short while, the skies were clear and the races could begin. The first race was the 8km which attracted both young and old. After the brave 8km runners were well ahead on the course, the larger 4km race could begin.
Ruimsig Country Club marketing manager Samantha Hance said, “It is was a great turn-out, despite the rain.”
