Senior trial at Panorama FC
PANORAMA –Football players get the opportunity to play for Panorama Football Club.
The Panorama Football Club (PFC) opened their doors to the football players of Roodepoort on 30 January.
With the start of the new season taking the community by storm, Panorama Football Club hosted their senior team try-outs. Dozens of hopefuls came to participate on an extremely hot day of football. Co-organiser Casper Steenekamp said, “I am pleased with the turnout today, we saw some great talent on the field.”
2016 is Panorama FC’s 30th anniversary, player registrations are also open with the junior leagues and the senior leagues starting mid-March.
Training sessions for the various age groups are as follows:
Mondays:
- 5.30pm for U8 and U9
- 6pm for U10 and U11
- 6.30pm for U14 and U15
- 7pm for seniors (U20 and older).
Tuesday
- 5.30pm for U6 and U7
- 6pm for U12 and U13
- 6.30pm for U16 and U17.
Wednesday
- 5.30pm for U8 and U9
- 6:00pm for U10 and U11
- 6:30pm for U14 and U15
- 7:00pm for seniors (U20 and older).
Thursday
- 5.30pm for U6 and U7
- 6pm for U12 and U13
- 6:30pm for U16 and U17.
A special thank you and well done was sent to the senior players for joining PFC last season, they had never played together before and still finished third in the league.
