Allen Glen bowls Glenvista all out

The newly started cricket season saw Allen Glen High School (AGHS) play against Glenvista High School on 27 January.

AGHS XI cricket team took the long trip to Malbarton in south Johannesburg to play their second game against Glenvista High School.

AGHS bowled Glenvista all out for 44 runs in 14.3 overs. The game developed seeing AGHS taking 11.4 overs to chase down the total, losing 4 wickets in the process.

Captain of the AGHS team, Matthew Botha said, “The performance could have been better, we bowled and fielded really well but the batting needs to be better.”
