Children receive new clothes
DISCOVERY – Child Welfare SA received a donation of new clothes for the children in their care by Skye Distribution.
Child Welfare Centre South Africa were the recipients of a clothing donation by Skye Distributions who gave each child a brand new clothing item recently. Skye Distribution gave the children the clothes as part of their spring initiative.
Desiree Vundla, Provincial area manager of Child Welfare SA said that the giveaway was highly appreciated and that it was a good initiative for corporates to think about child welfare and the needs of children. “The children we care for have needs just like any other child and we are dedicated to making their lives better,” she said.
She added that they looked forward to future initiatives with corporates such as Skye Distribution and were grateful for the donations.
Claire Conchar, marketing manager for Skye Distribution said that they were always looking for avenues to make a change where they could. “Since our business is in footwear and clothing, this donation is our way of giving back and we look forward to doing it again.” She pointed out.
