Trinity Little Falls wins its first

LITTLE FALLS – School races in its first athletics event, and wins.

The first official athletics season at Trinityhouse High School Little Falls has started. Recently, Trinityhouse travelled to Bryanston to run against their fellow H league schools: Crawford Sandton; Sandringham High School, and Covenant College.

They arrived with great anticipation and even greater excitement for what was to happen that afternoon, and before they knew it, the races were underway. The spirit and determination on behalf of all those involved in the event showed the character of each school represented.

Each race saw greater effort being exerted, even as the afternoon continued and the legs began to tire. The final relays proved to be as exciting as ever, with many close finishes. The final scores for the afternoon read Crawford Sandton two points; Covenant College 85 points; Sandringham High School 169 points, and Trinityhouse Little Falls 200 points.

This victory ensures that Trinityhouse will be placed in a higher league for the season next year. “It is the hard work of the athletes that has paid off and as a school we say thank you. Well done, boys and girls,” said Lynne Davis, principal of Trinityhouse High School Little Falls.
