The supervising Captain
KENSINGTON B – Captain Malepe calls on young and upcoming police officials to be committed to their work and obey their superiors.
The head of the Human Resources Department at the Randburg SAPS Captain Tsietsi Malepe believes that complying with work ethics simplifies his job.
Captain Malepe won the prestigious Honeydew Cluster Award for the year 2014/15.
The award added to his accolades and commendations since he started his career in the police force.
He has been with the police for more than 20 years and he believes that the award proved that he was doing his job accordingly.
He explained that although the job was challenging, he was dedicated to ensuring safety in the community.
Capt Malepe won his first award on the provincial level in 2011.
He was awarded for being Manager of the Year and was awarded Supervisor of the Year in 2014 in the cluster.
He concluded that he had answered his calling.
“When you respect your superiors and persevere any challenge, everything will follow through and you can achieve more,” concluded Capt Malepe.
