A six-vehicle collision left 14 people injured in Muldersdrift on the morning of 19 August. The accident occurred on the R28 near Silverstar Casino, in Muldersdrift. ER24 spokesperson Russel Meiring explained that when paramedics arrived on scene, they found one lane of the road blocked by the vehicles.
“On assessment, paramedics found that 14 people had sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate,” he said, adding that it was fortunate that no one sustained serious injuries. “Paramedics treated the patients for their injuries and thereafter transported them to nearby hospitals for further treatment. The cause of the collision is not yet known but local authorities were on scene for further investigations.”
