• The Love Guru

The Love Guru is making its way to the Lyric Theatre at Gold Reef City on 19 June. This will be the latest comedic offering from Sans Moonsamy and the storyline follows the biggest love conference in the world taking place in the country. Tickets from R165.

• Classic Drive-in at Montecasino

Do you love watching movies? Have you ever wished you can do drive-in movies while you snuggle up with your partner or friends? Well no worries, this June, you can take a trip down memory lane at Montecasino’s Classic Drive-In. The drive-in movies will take place on selected nights in the outdoor events area. The line-up features great family classics on Friday nights and date night movies on Saturdays. The movie nights come complete with pop-up cafeteria, offering popcorn, candy floss and more. Tickets are available online from Computicket for R200 per car.

• Trevor Noah’s Lost In Translation

Join South Africa’s favourite comedian as he will be tickling your funny bone in his ‘Lost In Translation’ at the Teatro at Montecasino from 18 until 4 July.

• Tree63 Album Tour

Tree63 will be treating South Africans at the Prosound Studios in Roodepoort with the sounds of their new album, which was recorded over the last few months in the United States. The album will be officially released this month in South Africa. Join Tree63 in Roodepoort on 20 June at 12pm.

• One Republic

Catch One Republic live at the Ticketpro Dome on 19 June at 8pm.

Ever since their first album, ‘Dreaming Out Loud’, the group has since stolen millions of hearts in the world. They have just embarked on their biggest tour, playing in over 185 sold-out venues around the world. Tickets are available online from Computicket; prices range between R340 and and R650.

• Christopher Duigan and David Salleras perform

Make your way to the University of Johannesburg’s art centre on 20 June for a performance by Christopher Duigan and David Salleras at 7.30pm. The performance will include selections from their world music range from Spain and Argentina and many more.

• Youth Comedy Jam

Join the Youth Comedy Jam at the Lyric Theatre at Gold Reef City on 20 July at 8.30pm. The comedy show will be celebrating Youth Month and will look back at the challenges the youth faced in the past, and the current challenges.
