GALLERY: Brand Inscentives comes second in SMME competition
RUIMSIG – Local scent marketing company receives a business award at the SMME Awards ceremony in Somerset-West.
Brand Inscentives proved that hard work pays off, when they received an award at the 2015 South Africa
Small, Medium and Micro Enterprise (SMME) Awards.
The award ceremony, an initiative of the Africagrowth Institute, took place on 4 of June at the Lord Charles Hotel in Somerset-West.
Brand Inscentives based in Ruimsig, was awarded the second runner-up position in the Industrial Sector category.
The company was established in 2005 by Daryl du Toit and Gillian Meiring.
“It is the largest scent marketing company in South Africa. They are proudly the only local manufacturer of ducted scent diffusers.
They offer various solutions dependent on how the customer wants to apply the scented solutions,” according to a media statement.
The award ceremony, a red carpet affair, was well attended by the award-winning SMMEs, national government officials, major corporates and various stakeholders as well as delegates from all over South Africa.
Entries for this prestigious awards competition were received, in large numbers, from all over the country making it extremely difficult for the judges to select the five finalists in each of the six categories, as well as the overall winner.
The sponsors of the event included MTN SA, Old Mutual Corporate, KPMG and Ithala.
According to the media statement, Brand Inscentives is the only company in South Africa that has full membership with SAAFFI – The South African Association of Fragrance and Flavours Industry.
The association ensures ethical business.
The company is also the exclusive distributor for Esencias Moles – manufacturers of fragrances based in Spain, and Frans Veugen – manufacturers of fogging and disinfecting equipment.
