BERGBRON – Local resident Anne-marie van Deventer recently drove away with a brand new Hyundai i10 from the Spar Win-a-Car competition.
Local resident, Anna-Marie van Deventer recently walked away with a brand new car.
Van Deventer tried her luck and entered for the Spar Win-a-Car competition – which was giving away hundred special editions of Hyundai i10.
The Bergbron resident said she was chuffed when she received a call from Gordon Road Superspar about winning a car.
The 58-year-old said she first received a call about winning a cash-back price voucher, but wished it was a car, however hours later, she received another call from Spar telling her that she had won a car.
“I am so happy, I am very thankful to God, I think God is good,” she said.
She added, “I currently have a car, but this one is an addition to the family.”
Manager of the Superspar, Euan Anderson also congratulated Van Deventer.
“It is fantastic for the lady to win a car, she was not expecting it, and now she is over the moon – we are very happy for her,” said Anderson.
