Biker knocked down on John Vorster

A biker was transported to hospital with moderate to severe injuries after he was knocked over by another vehicle in Weltevreden Park on 19 May.

According to VitalMed paramedics on scene, the biker was travelling up John Vorster Road when the car turned right into the road and they collided.

“We performed advanced life support to the man on the scene and we transported him to the hospital,” said VitalMed operations manager, Eric Nicholls.

Traffic has been diverted between John Vorster and J.G Strijdom Roads, and motorists are urged to be patient and drive with caution.
