Skip Florida, renew at Krugersdorp

To all those people needing to renew their driver’s licence, go to Krugersdorp. Needing to renew my licence and reading the horrific events happening at Florida Licensing Centre (my usual place of renewal) along with the attitude of JMPD spokesperson Wayne Minnaar, I was very reluctant to go there. I asked a friend to show me where Krugersdorp Licensing Department was and, on arrival, was impressed with the off-road parking, the friendly and vagrant-free photo area.

We discussed with security what was the best day and time to come to avoid queues. Realising at 12.50pm on Monday we were the only people there, I quickly had photos taken, filled in the form and 20 minutes later I left with my licence renewal completed. They even had bench seats to sit on while you wait. What an unbelievable pleasure. Hats off to Krugersdorp for having a hassle-free, friendly customer-orientated department.
