Panorama hosts Kappa Junior League festival
WIGEHUEWEL — Six teams show impressive skills during the Junior League Festival.
Panorama hosted several football teams as part of the Panorama FC/Kappa Junior League Festival in Wilgeheuwel.
The three-day event started from 17 February, with semi-finals taking place on 1 March.
Six teams participated in the finals in different age groups including U13, U15 and U17.
Director of Panorama FC Nando Roselen said the event was successful and all the football stars present showed extraordinary sportsmanship.
“One player, Connor Charles from Panorama, was voted the U13 player of the tournament, along with another player Alessio Frau from the U14 teams. They were awarded the Chairman’s Award for upholding the Panorama ethos of fair play and sportsmanship,” said Roselene.
The U13 Supersport United team played against Sandton and used home-ground advantage to claim victory, while the U15 Wits team A played against Wits B and they were crowned the winners.
Finally, U17 Kargo A took the spot when they battled it out against Diepsloot Arsenal.
