Serrao tours the UK in March
CONSTANTIA KLOOF – The Parlotones and Justin Serrao will perform together during UK tour in March.
Local singer Justin Serrao is about to be a little bit less local as he is off to the United Kingdom in March.
He explained that he mentioned to The Parlotones a while ago that he wanted to go with them on a tour to the UK. He was stunned when The Parlotones bassist Glen Hodgson asked him for his passport and ID number. “I was so surprised that I almost started crying for joy as the possibility was now a reality.”
The tour starts on 12 March with the first performance in Birmingham followed by a performance in London. “After that I perform in Dublin at a place called The Button Factory and after that we head off to Bristol followed by a show in Manchester. We then end the tour with a performance at the Classic Grand in Glasgow.”
Serrao added that he will only be a support act for The Parlotones, but described the tour as a dream come true.
“Excited is not a word I can use, it’s way beyond that. I’m going to do our country proud abroad,” concluded Serrao.
