Six-year-old killed by motorist
ZANDSPRUIT – Child killed in Zandspruit while trying to cross the road.
A six-year-old boy died close to the Beyers Naudé Drive and Peter Road intersection yesterday afternoon.
It is understood the boy was crossing the road when he was hit by a moving vehicle.
ER24 paramedics and other services arrived on scene and found the child in a critical condition. He was provided with advanced life support, however, his condition quickly deteriorated. He was declared dead after attempts to resuscitate him failed.
