City Power has announced that there will be a planned power interruption on Saturday 13 December 2014 at 10pm.

The following areas will be affected:

• Constantia Kloof extensions 10,16,17,18,20,34,36,37 and 40
• Florida North extensions 5, 6,7,8 and 9
• Floracliffe, Floracliffe extension 1
• Florida Park, Florida Park extension 1
• Florida Hills, Florida Hills extension 4

According to City Power, the power interruption is necessary to do essential maintenance work on their network which is part of its program of constantly striving to provide better service.

The interruption will take place from 10pm until 6am the following morning on 14 December.

As the supply may be restored at anytime, customers are urged to treat their electricity supply points as live at all times.

City Power regrets any inconvenience that may be caused by these interruptions.
