Quick Services respond to emergency attempted suicide.

Quick Services rushed a man to Leratong hospital on the 23rd of September after a suspected suicide attempt.

Denver Ramnarain, owner of the ambulance service said the man’s landlord found him unconscious and quickly called the ambulance.

“We came through and found he had taken an unknown quantity of prescription meds designed for decreasing sugar levels in the blood for diabetic patients. He also had a lot of alcohol in the system”

The victim was treated on the scene and was given a drip before he was transported to the hospital.

“We gave him an intravenous sugar to counteract the diabetic medication and we transported him in a serious but stable condition” added Ramnarain.
