Thanks for the impeccable service

WELTEVREDEN PARK – Resident Michela Peddie wishes to thank Beagle Watch for the excellent service.

Michela Peddie writes:

I would like to point out the impeccable service that Beagle Watch is providing in Weltevreden Park. I think its important to report the good things that are happening in our community. I am a new resident in Weltevreden Park and have had a bad experience with a brilliant outcome all thanks to two men at Beagle Watch. I would like to thank the Beagle Watch team on behalf of myself and my family. On Thursday 18/09/2014, around 12:45, after parking my car (Black VW Polo) on the curb in front of my house, while my roof was being painted, 3 young men broke into my car and attempted to steal it. They got as far as exchanging my computer board in the bonnet with their own computer board. They broke the lock on my driver door and opened the fuse panel next to the steering wheel, broke the ignition and had even got as far as starting my car and pulling off, in less than a few minutes. My car had been parked there for less than 20 minutes and there were numerous people in my yard and on my roof.

After seeing flashing lights outside my front gate, I went up to investigate and pressed my panic button for another alarm company that I belong to. Once I was at my gate I saw a Beagle Watch vehicle a few meters down my road, there seemed to be a struggle. Upon looking to my left, I found my car with the drivers door open and my car running. The man painting my roof told me the Beagle Watch guys were driving by and came across the ‘kid’ driving my car and attempted to stop him, as the situation looked suspicious. The ‘kid’ then sprang out of my car and ran down the road. The Beagle Watch guys apprehended the suspect and brought him back up to the scene of the crime.

The Beagle Watch duo were nothing but profession, Jabulani Dube and Benson Mamfegy (please excuse me if the spelling is incorrect), had apprehended the suspect driving my car and had retrieved my car. I am truly grateful to them. They preserved the crime scene, wearing gloves, not allowing anyone to touch my car and contacted the police for me. They handled everything. Despite not being their client they treated me as though I was their client. Their operations manager arrived, Jakes Shakung, he too was phenomenal! They all three stayed until the whole situation was resolved. They treated me with such compassion and care! Jakes went as far as purchasing everyone a coke to settle the nerves.

I am floored at the level and quality of the service provided by The Beagle Watch team!!! These two men are saviours of our community! They did not have any responsibility to attend to my car being stolen, and yet they did everything in their power to keep our streets safe! They are true heroes!
