Panorama Football Club honours former chairman Grant Hart

ROODEPOORT – Panorama Football Club honoured former chairman of the club for his contributions.

Panorama Football Club celebrated its longest standing member and former chairman of the club Grant Hart on 13 June.

According to public relations manager Jacqui Swart, the football night was dedicated to honouring Hart for his generous contributions to the football club.

The club members took it upon themselves to surprise Hart by giving him an honorary award as a way of showing their appreciation.

For the past years, Hart has captivated and enthralled the football club with his generous contributions and time.

Hart’s company, Pro Solutions, has being sponsoring the club for many years.

There’s probably no quicker way to break the ice with Hart than to talk about football and helping the community.

Hart explained that his company contributed to the club as a way of community service to empower the youth.

“For me it has always been about the community and ensuring that children have something to do, my boys spend many years playing for the club and even today they still contribute to the club,” he said.

Hart, who has been part of the club for 21 years, said he feels honoured and was not expecting the surprise award because he does not support the club for any recognition.

He also mentioned that the club is created for the community to embrace themselves in sports.

“This is an incredible place for the youngsters to grow, I have taken many of the kids overseas to play and today they are great.”

Although he is no longer chairman of the club, Hart informed that he enjoys spending time at the club and watching football.
