Meet our news editor, Lesego Maja

I am a University of Johannesburg BA Journalism graduate with the constant need to be in the know and, in turn, keep my community abreast with news that concerns them and that which they are concerned about. In an ideal world, I live in a city where crime is a myth and pain is unheard of. Where justice is not needed because no one feels wronged. However, this is not an ideal world and with that fantasy in mind, I made the conscious decision to become a microphone for the soft-spoken and a vehicle for those who wish to be transported to such a world – I became a journalist. A lover of words and the art of writing.
