With autumn in full swing, Grade 1s at Trinityhouse Preparatory Little Falls took a day trip to Little Falls Nature Reserve last Wednesday.
According to teacher Karen Cammell, the purpose of the trip was to collect autumn leaves for an autumn booklet they had been working on.
“They completed an autumn booklet, noting the changes that are happening in the seasons,” Cammell said. “It was amazing to see the pupils motivated to learn more about the different seasons.”
The pupils also enjoyed a picnic at the nature reserve.
