Margret Gehrmann celebrated her 80th birthday on 9 February.
She was born in 1934 in Essen, Germany. Shortly after marrying Lambert Gehrmann on 26 November 1955, the couple moved to South Africa, and have lived in Honeydew since 1966.
Margret has five daughters, six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
