In 2011 while in Grade 0, Keenan Amon enrolled for Kumon. His love for reading became more evident when he received his first Gold Advanced Student Record (ASR) Kumon star in 2012. He was ranked 41 nationally. He recently received his second award and star for 2013 and is now ranked 21 in the country, along with two others. A gold award means that the student is two or more years ahead of his/her grade. Amon reads on average three books a week, over and above school reading and homework.
