Trinityhouse school choir, the Trinity Singers, were proud to host the Drakensberg Boys Choir at a concert that showcased two outstanding choirs at a recent event.

The Trinity Singers took part for a brief period, performing works from their current repertoire and one or two old favourites. The Drakensberg Boys Choir followed with their formal programme to close the first half of the concert, and then performed their now world-renowned folk music programme in the second half.

It was a phenomenal experience to hear the two talented choirs performing alongside each other.

“We hope that the evening marks the beginning of an on-going relationship with the Drakensberg Boys Choir. It was a privilege to host and share a stage with them,” said Christo De Wit, headmaster of Trinityhouse High School in Randpark Ridge.

Drakensberg Boys Choir sound enginner Clive Staegemann remarked that the Trinity Singers have quality, a lovely compliment from a reputable individual.

The Trinity Singers did well to uphold their reputation for outstanding choral singing.
