Tsogo Sun and MasterChef delight casino winners in tough competition

Since June this year, South Africans have been glued to their TV screens as they’ve viewed all the action, blood, sweat and tears of the second season of MasterChef SA.

In celebration of their sponsorship of this popular reality TV competition, Tsogo Sun gave visitors to their three Gauteng entertainment destinations – Montecasino, Silverstar and Gold Reef City – the opportunity to win the unique experience of dining with Tsogo Sun’s celebrity chef and MasterChef SA judge Benny Masekwameng, and have a meal prepared by MasterChef Season 1 winner Deena Naidoo, at his restaurant Aarya, at Montecasino. Sally Jansen, Roman Konig, Hannetjie Schenck, Melvin Chetty and their partners were treated to Naidoo’s culinary skills on 1 August. They were also treated to Masekwameng’s charm and humour.

The guests enjoyed tastes of Aarya as Naidoo prepared and served unique dishes off a family-style menu, designed by himself for the evening.

“In the midst of the tough competition, as heat rises and anticipation mounts during each episode of the show, this competition has been an opportunity for the public to get involved and to enrich their experience of the show,” said Tsogo Sun’s chief marketing officer Rob Collins.
