Thirteen-year-old Lantern Primary learner Kate Mpho Spies, who was reported missing after school on Monday, 24 February, was found by members of the police on 27 February. She is safe and unharmed.
Captain Johan Pretorius from the Police’s Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences (FCS) unit, confirmed that she has been reunited with her parents. He added that she will receive counselling.
