City Power technicians have been scrambling all weekend long to repair the countless faults around Johannesburg.

These technicians are currently tending to an issue in the Roodepoort, affecting Lindhaven, Reefhaven, Grobler Park, Witpoortjie, Manufacta, Technicon, Roodepoort West and Westgate.
An electrical explosion caused by water damage is believed to be the cause.
The infrastructure is currently being tested and restoration is expected soon.
City Power confirmed via media release,
“Main cable has been replaced. The team has also tested the whole network to eliminate any faults”.
