Child rushed to hospital after Ontdekkers Road accident

Early morning rain made driving conditions difficult today, 24 January.

An accident involving two light motor vehicles at the intersection of Ontdekkers and Mouton Road caused mild traffic congestion adding to an inevitable delay caused by the rain. Fortunately no serious injuries were reported in the accident, but one child was transported to hospital.

Alett Reed of Emer-G-Med was on scene and confirmed, “no serious injuries but we are transporting one child with minor injuries”.

With rain predicted for much of the weekend motorists are urged to please drive safely.
