Dear Ward 83 residents
The festive season is under way with families on holiday, visiting their loved ones, and planning get-togethers for those big days.
We wish all our residents a safe, crime-free and happy holiday time.
I’d like to remind residents that happy experiences come with great responsibility – exercise caution at all times, particularly when in public spaces, and keep calm when the shopping and travel pressures get too much. Frustration levels are at an all-time high with load-shedding, high crime and unemployment.
Residents can enjoy a stress-free Christmas and New Year holiday by controlling their own actions and emotions. Exercise patience and restraint when dealing with others over this busy period. A loving, calm attitude generates positive experiences.
