It is always a good idea to show someone you care because you never know how much they may need it. There is an Amish proverb that says, “Instead of putting others in their place, put yourself in their place”.
Before you try to degrade someone or make assumptions on who they are and how they act, think about what they could be going through. Cheryl Strayed said that compassion is about giving all the love that you’ve got.
Share positivity and show people that you care. John Connolly said, “There is a nobility in compassion, a beauty in empathy, a grace in forgiveness”.
No matter what, it does not make you weak to care or to show emotion. The Dalai Lama said, “Compassion and tolerance are not a sign of weakness, but a sign of strength”.
