Roodepoort Police ready for anything this December

Seasonal deployment operation to kickstart the festive season

Come rain or shine this December, the Roodepoort Police will be alert and ready to assist the public. To gear themselves up for the festive operations they held a parade at Roodepoort Town Hall on Saturday, 7 December.

The Roodepoort CPF Sector 2 and 4 managers and their patrollers gathered in the early morning rain to show their unity and commitment to tackling crime this festive season.

Roodepoort Police spokesperson, Captain Juanita-Anne Yorke proudly stated the intentions of the members, saying, “This festive season operational deployment is for safer Sectors 2 and 4. Patrollers will be at the various hot spots in the two sectors.” This is just a small glimpse of what the police have in store for those who choose to break law as Yorke confirmed that there are further special operations under way.
