Word of the day

The word of the day for 30 November is: Limitations.

The Oxford English Dictionary defines ‘limitations’ as a condition of limited ability, a defect or failure.

Our limitations prevent us from doing things that we may be capable of. They do not need to be physical problems; limitations can be mental as well. If we are afraid of failure or we are self-conscious or have low self-esteem, then we have mental limitations.

Tino Tina said, “Embrace your limitations, for they inspire innovation”.

If we embrace what may be holding us back or preventing us from doing something, then we can identify ways to reach our goal without letting our fears or limitations hold us back.

Roy T Bennett said, “Believe in your infinite potential. Your only limitations are those you set upon yourself.”

If we believe we cannot do something, then we will never do it; we need to have faith that we can do what we want or need to do.

Les Brown said, “Life has no limitations except the ones you make”.
