Word of the day

The word of the day for 16 November is: Passion.

The word of the day for 16 November is: Passion.

‘Passion’ is defined as an intense desire or enthusiasm for something.

Oprah Winfrey said that passion is energy; we should feel the power that comes from something that excites us.

Passion not only brings about happiness but if you are doing something you are passionate about, you will put in more effort and become more successful. You will never give 100 per cent if you are doing something you don’t love.

EM Forster said, “One person with passion is better than forty people merely interested.”

Everyone needs to find something to be passionate about. Theodore Roosevelt said that the best prize life can offer is the chance to work hard at work worth doing, and Vincent van Gogh said, “I would rather die of passion than of boredom.”
