Ward 70 councillor, Caleb Finn, addressed the residents of Fleurhof regarding a power outage that has been affecting a few sections of the area.
The sections of Fleurhof that have been affected by the power outage since yesterday (31 October), get their power from the Pennyville Substation.
Unfortunately, technicians were unable to locate the fault while they were on site last night because the lines are running through the veld and could not be seen clearly.
A team is on site at present and will be testing the lines to determine what is causing the outage and rectify the issue.
Councillor Finn said he would do his best to keep the residents updated on the situation throughout the day, but due to personal matters regarding his health, he may not be available at all times.
