Customer Service Manager Anne Mjoka led proceedings by welcoming all attendees with a prayer. She then shared her heartfelt thanks with the elderly, whom she stressed were a big part of the Pick ‘n Pay Princess Crossing family. Anne went on to explain that this initiative was there to give back to the community who have been loyal supporters of the store. Anne said, ‘The elderly of this community have a special place in the heart of our store. They have supported us for so many years and we feel we must do all we can to show how much we appreciate them”.

Also in attendance was Branch Manager, Sifiso Radebe, and his assistant, Lionel Mokgwetsi. Sifiso echoed Anne’s sentiments, saying, “Thank you so very much for all your support over the years. We hope that we can continue to offer our services to you and your families well into the future”.

Tannie Peggy Pretorius, one of those showered with attention on the day, wanted to thank Anne and the store for the lunch. ”Thank you to Pick ‘n Pay Princess Crossing for showing us that we still matter. We look forward to coming back soon” said Tannie Peggy. The delicious sandwiches and fruit salad were gobbled up in record time, leaving more of the afternoon to spend with family and their friends at Pick ‘n Pay Princess Crossing.
