Celebrating 41 years of Christmas classics

Nothing feels like Christmas without Boney M

Anybody not out shopping will be guaranteed to get coal in their stocking later this week. Anyone who has been doing their Christmas shopping has no doubt heard the unmistakable sounds of Boney M.

The disco quartet released their everlasting gift to humanity on 23 November 1981. The album includes the 1978 Christmas number one, Mary’s Boy Child which has sold close to two million copies to date. This track, as well as Feliz Navidad and Little Drummer Boy set the foundation for any meaningful slog through the shopping mall while searching for that ideal present.

Here is the full album just in case you don’t get your fix at the shopping malls this Christmas.

Perhaps this Boney M overload may also encourage you to add a shot or six of Bourbon to the eggnog bowl.
