ER24 paramedics attended to a motor vehicle accident on Nadine Road, Robertville this morning, 7 October. A minibus taxi collided with a light motor vehicle shortly before 7am.

The minibus taxi was found to be transporting 15 children aged between six and 15. Assisted by several other services, ER24 treated the children for minor to moderate injuries. Fortunately, no serious injuries or fatalities were reported.
Russel Meiring of ER24’s communications office confirmed the incident. “The children were treated for their injuries and transported to various hospitals for further care. The driver of the light motor vehicle fortunately escaped injury. Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.”
