Councillor Sonja Meyer issued a notice inviting Ward 85 residents to a public meeting/ supplementary election taking place on Wednesday, 28 August.
The meeting is being held at Eagle View Guest House and Conference Centre, 750 Ribbon Road, Little Falls and will start at 6.30pm. A new ward committee member will be elected to replace a member who had stepped down.
Residents are encouraged to attend the event and take part in the election process, but are reminded to bring their smart ID cards or bar-coded identity book in order to participate.
The notice also detailed the four-part agenda for the evening, consisting of welcoming remarks, an introduction of officials, the election process and then the closure of the event.
