ANC spreads warmth among Princess Primary learners
Concluding the handover was the school's principal, John Sithi, who was overwhelmed by the great gesture.
“You have championed the lives of our learners, we are really grateful for this kind gesture that you have shown us.”
Those were the words of John Sithi, the principal of Princess Primary School, who was left almost speechless by the work done by members of the African National Congress of Zone 5.

In a bid to make a difference in the learners’ lives, they donated a photocopy machine to the school, plus more than 70 pairs of school shoes and socks to the identified learners on Thursday, 15 August.
“In the spirit of ‘Thuma mina’, we decided to organise shoes for the needy at one of our disadvantaged schools in the zone. This is a gesture to entrench the right of all our learners to schooling and ensuring they have the same opportunities and learning environment regardless of their background,” said Lungile Dukwana, the committee’s secretary.

The hand over was led by Phido Thage, who is the chairperson of the committee. He said that this is their contribution to growing Zone 5 and Johannesburg as a whole.
Concluding the handover was the school’s principal, John Sithi, who was overwhelmed by the great gesture that has been shown to his school.
“I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for remembering us, for arranging the sponsorships. You have made our Princes and Princesses very happy. We as a school are really honoured and we thank you for all the contributions,” he said.
