UPDATE: Injuries sustained during accident

A family member of one of the victims of the collision on Tuesday, 13 August, at the intersection of Main Reef and Progress Roads, has set the record straight.

Earlier, the Record reported that according to Netcare 911, nobody sustained any injuries in the collision which involved two vehicles and a bus.

However, the family member said one of the occupants of one of the cars sustained injuries.

“The occupant of the white car was taken to the Netcare Krugersdorp Private Hospital because she was bleeding internally. She is in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU),” she said.
