The South Road Bridge Project calls upon ward 71 SMMEs

A compulsory briefing is being held for SMMEs to tender for subcontracting work on South Road.

Mayibuye I-Afrika Trading has previously called upon the small, medium and micro-sized enterprises (SMME’s) in Ward 71 to put forward their applications to be part of the South Road bridge project.

At a briefing held on 8 August, community liaison officer, Mduduzi Myeza will invite SMMEs in Ward 71 to tender for subcontractor’s work on this project .

The compulsory briefing is being held at the Witpoortjie Recreation Centre, 824 Vermooten Road at 10am. SMMEs are required to meet certain criteria and provide supporting documents in order to place a successful bid.

The general Scope of Works that successful applicants will be required to price include manholes and catch-pits, concrete kerbing, road signs, road markings, stone pitching, gabions and guard rails.
