Ho ho ho, Christmas is early this year

Visitors will also have to walk a 500m trail lit with thousands of lights.

Do you want a perfect reason to put on your winter clothes, get out of the house and enjoy some Christmas spirit? Well, worry not, because the Walter Sisulu National Botanical Garden will be hosting Christmas in July and everyone, from couples to friends and families, is invited to come and experience a magical garden.

The festival will take place from Thursday, 25 July till Sunday, 4 August, between 6pm and 10pm.

Community members will be treated to an exhibition of various Christmas statues, an enchanted forest of magnificent lights, artificial snowflakes, lots of music and family fun activities.

Visitors will also be able to walk a 500m trail lit with thousands of lights.

This Christmas in July is an opportunity for people in Gauteng to experience what the people in the Northern hemisphere experience, a white winter Christmas with snow.
