Elderly woman in dire need of diapers

A Florida resident, who was previously a volunteer patroller, is in urgent need of medium- sized adult nappies.

The 88-year-old, who celebrated her birthday on Friday, 12 July, is pleading with the community to assist her by donating the adult nappies.

Fatima Newman had a fall in May 2019 and was hospitalised for four weeks due to a broken hip. She is currently recovering at home; however, she is bed-ridden.

Anyone willing to donate can contact Natalie on 076 323 2422 or drop off their donation at 76 Anzac Street, Newlands, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays between 5.30pm and 7pm.
