Among other interesting things that he participates in, like playing Tim The Toolman Taylor on the ABC sitcom Home Improvement, he also voiced Buzz Lightyear for the Toy Story franchise. Allen also played Scott Calvin and Santa Claus in The Santa Clause film trilogy.
His career started off as a comedian in 1975, when he participated in a comedy night at Mark Ridley’s Comedy Castle. After the comedy show, he began to get recognition and appeared in local television commercials and comedy shows.
In 2004, he received a star in the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Hollywood Boulevard for his contributions to the film industry.
