It all started at Morris Isaacson High School, where he started playing for the Jomo Cosmos juniors.
He has played for South Africa since 2008, and made his debut during a match against Malawi in Germiston.
Yeye played in both the 2010 FIFA World Cup and the 2013 African Cup of Nations. He earned his 50th cap in a 2015 African Cup of Nations qualifier.
He has confirmed that he will not be playing for SuperSport United next season, but he insists that he will still be out there on the football field in 2019/ 20.
