Sensei Antoinette makes a comeback

The 1st Dan black belt who started kickboxing at the age of 14 makes a comeback after two years of absence from the sport.

 

Honour Kickboxing Academy’s (HKA) Sensei Antoinette Visser made an impressive comeback at the Arnold Classic championships at the Sandton Convention Centre on 18 May.

Antoinette won a silver medal after narrowly losing to the current SA champion.

The 1st Dan black belt, who started kickboxing at the age of 14, made a comeback after two years of absence from the sport.

HKA owner, Steve van Eeden, lured Antoinette back by offering her the opportunity to train the young fighters at the club.

Steve said, “I approached her to come and assist me and share her experience with our young aspiring fighters. We are honoured to have her as part of our club. She brings an element of motivation to the students.”

Antoinette said, “My goals for this year are to get my 2nd Dan in November and continue to be an example to the young ones”.
