Elderly chat about good nutrition

The West Rand Chatroom members will now make wiser choices with regards to the foods that they eat after a health talk by nutritious specialists on 11 May.
Independent Herbalife members, Barry and Marry Jones, visited the cancer survivors at NG Kerk Constantiakruin in Constantia Kloof, to deliver a presentation about good nutrition which they offer as a brand.
Barry highlighted the importance of nutrition and how modern day foods lack the needed nutrition in the body. “Modern day foods do not have the right nutrition that they used to have and because of that it has created a lot of problems, namely obesity being the biggest problem in the world at the moment,” he explained.
He added that it has become difficult to find the right nutrition with governments trying as best as they can to produce food as fast as they can to feed millions of people. “The idea with the Herbalife product is that it gives you the good nutrition that you needs even when you still have your normal foods, and it provides the good nutrition which enables the body to take care of itself,” Barry elaborated.
When asked if Herbalife has any health benefits in particular for cancer patients, Barry said, “We never make medical claims, but generally if you look after your body and feed it with a little bit of nutrition, the body will take care of itself”.
After the presentation, the attendees were made to try out some of the products that were on display on the day.
